The Tourism Authority of Thailand highlighted northeastern folk music, regional cuisine, and sustainable tourism at Wonderfruit 2025, reinforcing Thailand’s image as a global festival destination and champion of creative, responsible travel.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) showcased the cultural charm of molam, a traditional folk music of northeastern Thailand, at Wonderfruit 2025, reinforcing Thailand’s position as a sustainable tourism and global event destination.

TAT joined the celebration of Wonderfruit’s decade of creativity for the ninth consecutive year. The festival took place from December 11-15, 2025, at The Fields, Siam Country Club, in Pattaya, Chonburi Province. This participation supported TAT’s event marketing strategy under the theme Unforgettable Experience: Healing is the New Luxury.

In the Molam World with Amazing Thailand zone, TAT showcased Thai cultural heritage through live molam performances, a dedicated stage, an open kitchen featuring cuisine from Thailand’s five regions, and the vibrant Phi Ta Khon performance. These activities immersed international audiences in local traditions and promoted cultural exchange through music, art, and community engagement.

TAT further supported the festival’s sustainability focus by presenting the Amazing Thailand Sustainable Tourism label, demonstrating its commitment to responsible tourism. This initiative strengthened Wonderfruit’s position as a global platform that connects people through creativity and supports local economies.

Through this collaboration, TAT reaffirmed its commitment to positioning Thailand as a leading destination for international festivals and creative events, while advancing sustainable tourism in line with national development goals. (NNT)
